Sempervivus Art and Design was founded twenty years ago by artists Darwin Nordin and Rebecca Watson. Initially our work focused on garden design but has evolved over the years to encompass teaching, curriculum design and development, exhibit and graphic/web design.
Education has always been an essential part of our work. Finding ways to bring: a client, a teacher, a child - closer to understanding a concept or idea and to see that blossom into something unique is how we ultimately hope to impact the people we work with.
Darwin has nearly twenty years experience as a teaching artist and has been actively working as an artist-in-residence for the past eleven years. Rebecca has worked intermittently as a teaching artist and is currently working as a Web Designer/Developer for King County Public Health in the Emergency Medical Services division where she works on the design and development of course content for the online training program for EMT's and Paramedics.
We continue to consult and do design work on a project by project basis. If you are interested in talking to us about a project please contact us.
Darwin and Rebecca wish everyone – joy, peace and wonder in the New Year! May it be better than the last.
